The Wind of Change

The Gardenia almost fully open is riding on the wind of change.....from one day to the next it reveals a new aspect.   It's life is short, but surely glorious and full of beauty and grace.  
This fabric collage was made from many different textured fabrics I got from an interior designer.  The gardenia is mostly silk left over from a wedding dress I made for one of my dearest friends.
