Iwa

The `Iwa or Great Frigate birds soar in the skies where I live. Their grace and beauty is breathtaking. I used my own hand dyed and painted fabric in the background to try to capture the feeling of the wind currents the birds use so effectively to soar to great heights. Hand painted and dyed fabrics, Silk borders, embellished.
