Imagination Takes Flight

I used this same drawing before (in the Vessel titled "Duality") but, it kept calling to be done in another format. "Imagination Takes Flight" was painted onto cotton fabric with Silkscreen Inks, and then machine free motion quilted before embellishing with beads. I used upholstery fabric to frame her, which I felt enhanced the color and the mood. There is something about the graphic design of this piece that makes me smile whenever I look at it.
