Duality Vessel - View 1

For this three dimensional vessel, I worked from my sketch and painted onto fabric using silkscreen inks. After painting, I stitched lines to create the quilt and add textures. "Duality" speaks to the different aspects of our selves and also to both outer and inner growth. Hand painted Cotton with silk interior. With the insert of a Plexiglas liner, this piece becomes a functional vase.
