Philosophy of Teaching

 

I try to make the classes I teach fun and approachable for any level of expertise. By encouraging people to get in touch with their own creative spark, I hope to give them the self-confidence to believe in their own innate talent and the ability to trust in their own sense of color and composition. I do my Art because I love it, it is what lights up my life. I want to share that sense of joy and satisfaction with others. For me the sharing is a gift.

Classes include

-Sun Printing- Leaf Printing and Stamping

-Coloring Fabric Fun using paint sticks, inks, stamping, rubbing, stencils, and shading.

- Composition and Technique on Various Themes. This is a class which will show the process I use to create an Art piece and students will be helped and encouraged through their own process.
